Every-day Makeup Routine

Hello my lovelies! Today I thought I'd do something a bit different. Recently I've been wearing the same makeup pretty much every single day, so I wanted to show you my every-day makeup routine, but wasn't sure what the best way to do it would be. Anyway, against my better judgement, I filmed it! I've never done a Youtube video ever before, my camera wasn't wanting to participate and the camera angle is quite frankly horrendous, but, even so, I've uploaded it! It's a good job I don't take myself too seriously!

Maybe one day I'll improve my video making skills (and hopefully the video quality along with it!) but for now, enjoy this monstrosity!

Vintage and Vintage-style Dress For Sale!

Hello my lovelies! So yesterday as you know I found some things I had forgotten I owned, and now I'm finally getting round to attempting to sell a couple of items which I love but no longer get any wear out of. I thought I'd start by putting them on my blog to avoid any hassle of using ebay or whatnot.

I adore these dresses but unfortunately haven't worn them very much and so they need a new home!

The first dress is this lovely blue and floral one that I got from a vintage fair a few years ago. I fell in love with it at the time and it is still as gorgeous now! It has a lovely silky body and a heavier floral patterned skirt. It is elasticated at the waist and I'd say it would fit a size 10-14. It is super comfortable and would be perfect for the summer time with a cute pair of shoes and maybe some flowers in your hair!

The next dress isn't vintage but it certainly has a vintage style to it. Again, I love this dress, it is so different and would be great for any time of year!

It buttons from just below the waist right up to the collar. The collar even has a cute little bow. The skirt has an amazing print on it, look at those birds! It is super cute and very comfortable. It says it is as size 14 however I personally think it would be a more comfortable fit for a size 12.

I am looking for around £12 for each dress (open to offers), plus £3 postage in the UK. If you are interested, or would like further info, either comment below or drop me an email at sian.blogspot@gmail.com

They are both really lovely dresses and I'm only selling them to make room in my wardrobe and as I could do with the extra money!

Hope you have a lovely day!

Rediscovery Tuesday

Being back at home has meant that I have rediscovered some things that I forgot I even owned. I found a whole drawer full of makeup that I rummaged through thinking "Oh yeah, I have that!" and some clothes at the back of the cupboard that have been unloved for no good reason!

Today I have been wearing a couple of things that I have rediscovered; two eyeshadows and a dress...

My Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, and my Nars eyeshadow in Cyprus were the finds of today. I forgot just how much I love both of them and will make sure they get put back in my makeup bag where they belong!

In my wardrobe I found my black skater dress from New Look. They still sell similar dresses and they also have a sale at the moment so definitely have a look! It's so comfy and looks pretty good with my Boohoo oversized pink denim shirt.
I'm also wearing a golden snitch necklace which I got from Etsy ages ago!

On my lips today I'm wearing Rimmel Moisture Renew in Sloan's Plum. Have I mentioned how much I love those lipsticks? Just a bit!

Have you found anything you'd forgotten you have recently?

Hope you're all having a lovely week!

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks

Rimmel, Moisture Renew

I'm a bit of a lipstick junkie and do like to splurge on new colours but I have an awful habit of looking to more expensive brands and ignoring the ones which are more in my price range! However, on a recent trip to Boots, I discovered Rimmel's Moisture Renew line.  I love a moisturising lipstick and thought, hey, for £6.49, I may as well try one out! Even though I had totally fallen in love with the colour Vintage Pink, and skipped along to the checkout to buy it, part of me still expected to be disappointed. Well how wrong I was!

The formula is so creamy and moisturising, and the colour is lovely and pigmented. I was so in love with my new find, that I went and bought two more! I love each one of them oh so much!

Vintage Pink
Oxford Street Fuchsia
Diva Red
These are definitely my three new favourite lipsticks! Vintage pink is just so wearable, and similar to my Nars lipstick in Tolede, but less than half the price! Oxford Street Fuchsia is vibrant but not too vibrant. I wore it casually for a day in the library, and it didn't look "too much". Diva Red is a gorgeous classic red, and it has great intensity. I'll probably wear this one more in the evening, or when I'm sporting some neutral eyes.

Left to Right: Oxford Street Fuchsia, Vintage Pink and Diva Red
You can find them and some other amazing colours at Boots for £6.49 which for such great a great lipstick is a total steal in my opinion!

I'd really love to hear your comments, and if you have tried out these lipsticks yourself!

Hope you're all having a great week!

March Feature: "#FashionStudentProblems"

"I don't DO fashion, I AM fashion" - Coco Chanel

Fashion emerges from so many places and I'm always interested in supporting and sharing  new talent. When I was contacted by the lovely Stacie from Plymouth College of Art, I was very excited to be able to help her out. You see, the BA (Hons) Fashion students at PCA need our help! And fast!

Every year, the graduating fashion students from PCA showcase all of their hard work in one final event, The Graduate Fashion Show! This is set to be an amazing night, which will be held in May 2014. Well, hopefully! See, this is where we come in. The fashion show is likely to cost a whopping £17,000 (no wonder it's going to be good!) but the graduating students have to raise some of this money themselves! Daunting right?! I'm a student myself, and I'm sure that lots of you are, or once were, too. Can you imagine if the recognition of your work rested on being able to raise enough money? I sure would have given up! But these students are working tirelessly to push their campaign, and are putting some of their faith in the blogging community. So, can we help them raise some of those much needed funds?

The fashion department at Plymouth College of Art has recently been awarded membership by the British Fashion Council, reflecting on the quality of the work that they produce! Let's show this talented bunch what a supportive community we are by getting involved! The main way of getting on board is to head on over to their Kick Starter page! It's right here!

You can give as little as £1 and if you feel a little more generous, they'll even send you some goodies to say a huge thank you!

If giving money isn't something you can do, never fear! They understand! But what would be amazing is if you could share either this post, or their Kick Starter page via social media, to help get the word about!

Click here to Tweet about the campaign right now!

Finally, if you are local to Plymouth, or even if you are further afield, the BA(Hons) Fashion students would love for you to join them on the 28th May 2014 to see what your support has made possible!

I hope our little part of the fashion community can be as supportive as possible, it would mean the world to these guys!
