FOTD #1, Time to get Organised and Magnitone Pulsar Diary: Day 2

I thought it was about time I did a Face of the Day post! To be honest, I do my makeup pretty much the same every day but I'll do a detailed post about my go-to face in the near future!

On my face I have my usual base, which includes my all-time favourite foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear in the colour 1C1 Cool Bone.

On my eyes I have colours from the Naked 2 palette: I first applied Verve on my whole lid, then Suspect to the outer third, followed by YDK in the crease. I also have Lancome Crayon Khol liner which I set with a black eyeshadow, and L'oreal Miss Manga mascara which I used today for the very first time and loved!

On my lips I have Clinique Chubby Stick in the shade Pudgy Peony which is a wonderful vibrant pink! I love Chubby Sticks, they're just so easy to wear.

I'm travelling back to university on Thursday and I have quickly realised that I need to get organised and fast if I am to be able to keep up with blogging along side all the work I'll have to do! So meet my pretty new notebook; this is where I am going to plan ahead with my blog posts and keep on track so that I know what I am going to be doing next. I have lots of ideas but I really need to write them down else I'll forget them all!

And now onto something important; my second day using the Magnitone Pulsar! I don't want to get too ahead of myself but I think I really like it already! No miracles were worked overnight mind you, but my face feels quite amazing. I used it again this morning and then applied my makeup, which went on really smoothly! The skin around my nose is less dry too. I have noticed that some spots are trying to appear, though the information with the Magnitone does say that it is normal for skin to "purge" when you first start to use it. I guess in my case that might mean spots ahoy for a while, but I'm hoping that they will soon disappear!

I used it in the shower this morning too! The Magnitone comes with a separate brush head for use on arms and legs. Changing the heads is fairly easy, although it takes a bit of getting used to to line it up properly. Both my arms and my legs certainly felt nice and smooth when I got out of the shower! I have dry skin on my knees and elbows too, and this seems to have been made softer already. If I carry on using it, I imagine I'll be in pretty good dermal shape very soon!

  1. Lovely photo. I really like your make up, the red lip looks gorgeous!
